Police arrest TVC reporter Ivy Kanu, scores stranded over curfew.



Television Continental correspondent and presenter of police programme Madam Ivy Kanu is been held at the Alausa police station over the 8pm curfew in Lagos. 
It was learnt that the IGP Adamu Mohammed gave a matching order to policemen to strictly enforce the directive on the curfew from 8pm- 6am.
It was also gathered that many commuters have abandoned their cars and have taken to trekking at the third mainland bridge  at  Oworo axis  and Osborne bridges.
Madam Kanu said she was returning from work when she was arrested and taken behind the counter.
Journalists like health workers are considered essential workers and their job makes it difficult  for them to return home  as most of them had to stay in the office till 11 or 12 midnight after production.
