REVENGE BACKFIRES BY PATIENCE OGBO

Officers attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad SARS   of the Lagos State Police Command Ikeja  on May 22nd 2013  paraded a Lebanese, Mohammed Dannawi, for allegedly masterminding the   kidnap of  his aunt, Alhaja Essa Dannawi.
The  police said Mohammed  alongside one Obi Kwentua   a former domestic staff of Alhaja Essa abducted the 61-year-old  Lebanese woman from her residence at No. 40 Abule Nla Road, Ebute Metta On May 2.
The police further stated that the suspect kept the woman in thier hideout at the Oyinbo area of the state. The police arrested the suspect after they demanded N100million ransom.
However, the suspects later reduced the ransom  to  N4million and it was in the process of collecting the money at the Rita Lori hotel at Surulere area of the state  that the police arrested them.
Asked why he masterminded the kidnap of his aunty, Mohammed said his aunty was mean to him and his wife and at such she was always offending him. " I planned the kidnap not to get money but to teach my aunt a lesson. She was always offending me. I did not tell the boys to collect money for her ransom but they should just teach  her  a lesson"
