More trouble for Nigeria embattled senator as EFCC get interim forfeiture of his 40 landed properties
Embattled senator Ike Ekweremadu who is in detention in the United Kingdom over allegations of human trafficking and organ harvesting has more trouble coming his way as an Abuja Federal High Court on Friday has issued the order of interim forfeiture of his 10 properties in Enugu, 3 in the United States of America (USA), 9 in Dubai, Two in the United Kingdom (UK), one in Lagos, and 15 located in Abuja.
A trial Judge, gave the order following an ex-parte motion and also orderedthe Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
EFCC is to publish the interim forfeiture order of the properties in a national daily within seven days from the date the order was given following a motion filed and moved by Ibrahim Buba on behalf of EFCC
