How Naked Gunman killed father of three in UI

There is no modus operandi criminals will not

employ to carry out crime. One of such recurring scheme criminals are employing to rob and kill thier victims is though weird but seems effective for them in getting away from scene of crime. Investigation reveals that criminals are applying oil to thier bodies and appearing stark naked to attack their target. This means of of committing crime was used to kill one Mr Vincent Odinko a father of three who was shot to death by a gun man at a Boys Quarters at the Philipson street University of Ibadan. Odinko until his murder last week Friday , lived in the BQ with his wife and three children and worked in the SSCE Internal Unit, Ibadan branch of the National Examinations Council, NECO. A source who quoted the wife of the deceased , narrated how Odinko was murdered. " I went to pay condolence to the family and the wife narrated how Vincent was murdered. She told me that she had gone to bed about 1:30am and her husband was sitting in the living room working on his computer. There was sounds outside so her husband got up and said who was that and before they knew it, there was a hard kick that pulled down their door. Right in front of the door, a naked man with oil all over his body and holding a dane gun, walked into thier apartment. First of all , they were shocked at the sight of the man and as her husband made an attempt to charge at him , the naked criminal, opened fire at him on his chest. She said her husband screamed "Jesus',Jesus' and he slumped. She added that the naked gun man went into the bedroom where she and her children were . She held on tight to her children , a -3-  year old , and  one years old twins. The gun shot attracted neighbours that was what scared the armed robber to flee with laptop her husband was working with. I'm sure that the criminal fled by jumping over the fence separating the University of Ibadan and the Polytechnic Ibadan which is at Philipson street" Investigation further shows that the same modus operandi was employed by criminals when they allegedly stormed the Queen Idia hall sometimes to rob the female students. it was gathered that the armed man was stark naked, had oil all over his body and was holding a dane gun. Residents of the university have attributed the insecurities in the university to the alleged inefficiency of the security agents of the university , the perpetual strike by non teaching staff and the non deployment of personnel of the Nigeria Police Force on the campus . The source said " Well the insecurities in UI calls for urgent attention. Do you know that a security post is not too far from the street that this crime occurred. When the Chief Security Officer of the University arrived the house of the Odinko's he started talking that why did they leave so much bush around them. The strike is contributing to insecurities on campus as the security personnel in UI are not that efficient due to the fact that thier union is on strike. Also, there is no police presence per se in UI. It's high time Nigeria Police Force has a base inside the campus but the students were the ones who kicked police men out some years ago and protested that policemen on uniforms should not be seen on campus".
