The Juvenile Welfare Centre of the Igando police station have arrested a male and female teacher of a private school in Lagos were for allegedly brutalising two pupils age 2 and 4 years old for watching them during a sex act in the school toilet.
According to the Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network ( ACVPN ) , stated " "The notorious male teacher and female teacher both were caught red handed in the School toilet by a primary 4 female student . According to the report we received the student who couldn't hide her displeasure told her fellow students what she witnessed.The female teacher caught with her fellow male teacher pounced on the eyewitness, beat her up mercilessly.As if that was not enough the school management did same by subjecting the eyewitness to all forms of humiliation precisely 14th of June 2022.
ACVPN while lamenting the alleged poor handling of the situation by the school stated
" Report also has it that yesterday 16th of June 2022 the same shameless female teacher pounced on the eyewitness again with slaps and beating ,it was alleged that she used a ruler to smack the pupil fingers which caused the pupil severe injuries . The most worrisome aspect of this female teacher was she just got married recently, report has it that this has been going on in the school for some time before they were caught by the pupil.The Irony of this case is the male teacher involved was also caught by a primary pupil fondling a fellow pupil.
Also according to report this is not the first time this notorious male teacher was caught molesting children and yet the school management covered his misdeed , the primary 2 pupil who is 7 years old was equally brutalized by this same randy male teacher .
It is very worrisome that a school kept quiet on such serious matter, I as speak the primary 4 pupil who was tortured by the erring teachers and the management is seriously down with fever and body discomfort. we are calling on the prompt interventions of the good offices of the Director School Social Work Lagos State Ministry of Youth and social Development MYSD ALAUSA IKEJA,Lagos State Ministry of Education, The Gender Desk Area M.
