Police parade undergraduate lady who allegedly murdered Billionaire Super TV boss.

Police in Lagos state command have paraded  a 21-year-old undergraduate arrested over the murder of SuperTV boss, Michael Usifo Ataga, 49.
The Lagos state police commissioner CP Hakeem Odumosu while paraded  the suspect one  Chidima Adaora Ojukwu at the state command on Thursday. Ojukwu who claimed to be a 300 level Mass Communication student of the University of Lagos said the alleged murder took place  at a Short Service Apartment, situated at 19, Adewale Oshin Street, Lekki, Phase 1, Lagos.
In an interview with reporters, Ojukwu said she was introduced to Ataga four months ago by her friend, adding that they used to meet at his residence in Victoria Garden City (VGC).
She claimed that on the day of the incident, June 15, she told her parents she was going for an ushering job and would spend some days there.

Ojukwu, according to Odumosu, was apprehended at her parent's Yaba residence on Wednesday night following painstaking investigation after Ataga was reported missing by his family only for his body to be discovered in the apartment with multiple stab injuries.

"We used to meet at his residence in VGC but that day, he said he was doing maintenance in the house and opted that we met at an apartment.
"I went online to search for the apartment and went there to do physical inspection. I got to the hotel around 6pm and he came about an hour later
"We were having fun; drinking, smoking and taking drugs. On Monday, we were together, drinking and smoking. We smoked SK and Loud. We had fun and so I went to get food for both of us and then on Tuesday, he was trying to make advances which I told him i was tired. I was already sleepy then he became violent on me and he got his way which I let him.
"Then towards afternoon, we ordered for smoke and I wasn't happy with the first one that he did so I was still on my own just smoking and drinking with my food. He too was on his own on the couch so he came onto me while we were both watching movie and I told him I was not happy with what he did. I told him he didn't help me or assist in anything but yet he keeps playing me around and then he gave me his ATM card to go and withdraw whatever I want and told me his pin.
"I was like that's not what I meant so he became violent trying to get to me and I was resisting and defending myself and at some point he hit my head on the wall I was struggling to go out but he was stopping me. He even locked the door and he was with the key. I didn't know where he kept it, so when I get the door he would draw me back and I also retaliated.
"At some point, he was choking me while I was on the kitchen cabinet and then I stretched out to the knife and stabbed his neck twice, when I stabbed him I threw the knife on the bed then he was going for it while I went for it as well. I laid on the bed, that's when he came on me to hold the knife and I managed to stab him in the stomach.
"When he dragged the knife, he managed to slice my hand and as he was holding it, the knife broke so it slipped from his hand but he was weak and he fell on the floor. While he was lying there, I changed, I looked for the key where he hid and I left the room."
Ojukwu admitted she withdrew about N380,000 from Ataga's account which she planned to use as school fees before she was arrested.
Addressing reporters, Odumosu said a driver's license, complimentary cards, Access Bank
Statement of Account, a Nigerian International Passport with No.B50010434 were retrieved from the suspects.
He said a fake driver's license bearing Mary Johnson with the suspect’s photograph, a National Identification Card bearing the suspect’s name, one UBA ATM debit card bearing the suspect’s name and one University of Lagos ID card bearing the suspect’s name were also recovered.
Giving facts of the case, Odumosu said: "A case of murder was transferred from Maroko Division to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti Yaba, for discreet investigation. The fact of the case is that, on June 15, at about 5pm, one Chidimma Adaora Ojukwu, a 300 level, undergraduate of the University of Lagos, Conspired with others, now at Large, allegedly murdered one
Michael Usifo Ataga, 50, by stabbing him several times with a sharp object.
"The prime suspect, Chidinma, who had earlier booked for the apartment on June 13, secretly, left the apartment after the deed had been done on June 15, around 5:30pm. The suspect was tracked and arrested in her residence at 57, Akinwunmi Street, Alagomeji, Yaba-Lagos.
"During search, the prime suspect and Mass Communication Student of the University of Lagos, was caught with a blood-soaked cloth, ostensibly worn on the day of the incident. The suspect confessed to have stabbed the deceased with a kitchen knife after a struggle.
"She further confessed to have taken the knife away while leaving the scene and disposed same in a dust bin at her residence. It has also been revealed that the suspect equally stole the deceased iPhone. Investigation is ongoing to arrest other accomplices. However, the case will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded."

While commending the Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna and the MMIA Commands of the Agency for sustaining the offensive action against illicit drug trafficking and the cartels running it, Gen. Marwa warned that the NDLEA will not spare any law enforcement agent hiding under the privilege of his uniform to engage in narcotic criminal business.
“Those who think they can sabotage ongoing efforts to rid Nigeria of the menace of illicit drug trafficking and abuse hiding behind the façade of their uniforms should better think twice because they’ll have NDLEA to contend with. We’ll not only arrest and expose them but we’ll equally prosecute them and seize all assets acquired through the proceeds of their criminal act”,

How Serial Marriage merchant Kelly Iluobe uses police to "arrest" victim wife, "sponsors" police to turn genotype, impersonation ,identity fraud ,child abandonment case against complainant wife ---- ACVPN

-- As Aunt Landa Bethel Foundation takes over care , treatment of Anaemic children.
By Patience Ogbo

Child, women and vulnerable persons advocates under the auspices of Advocates for  Children and Vulnerable Persons Network ACVPN have expressed anger and dismay over the activities of policemen attached to the Adminstration Unit Force Criminal Investigation Department FCID Alagbon Lagos.
Their anger it was learnt is as a result of a case of genotype, impersonation ,identity fraud ,child abandonment instituted by the ACVPN following compliant they recieved from one Mrs Princess Helen Iluobe against her husband Mr.  Kelly Felix Illuobe.
According to investigation, Mr.  Kelly Illuobe has been on the wanted list of the police attached to the Gender and Anti - Human trafficking Unit SCID Panti Yaba Lagos State for alleged multiple marriage fraud, identity theft, child abandonment and fraud but instead of honouring the invitation of the police at the Gender Unit SCID Panti Yaba, Mr. Illuobe took a petition to the Adminstration Unit FCID Alagbon where he alleged his wife of theft and using the police to harrass him.
Following his petition, it was gathered that his case  has been transferred from GENDER Anti-human Trafficking to the Admin unit Of FCID ALAGBON Ikoyi Lagos yesterday.
Speaking on the turn of event, Mr. Ebenezer Omejalile coordinator of ACVPN calls on the police IGP Akali Baba , the ministry of women affairs , and the federal government to ensure that Kelly Illuobe does not escape justice by using his alleged cronies in the Nigeria police force.
He said "Kelly who has never showed up in any of the government agencies whenever they invited him has the audacity to criminally write a petition to the  FCID through the Admin unit alleging Princess Helen Iluobe of stealing his property worth 4 million naira from apartment, an apartment he could not pay for .He alleged Princess of harassing him with the police. He claimed his surety was unlawfully detained .Kudos to the ADVOCATES ACVPN Team who were present at the FCID with Princess Helen Iluobe, Her mother. At a point an altercation almost ensued reasons been that the IPO subjected Helen Princess Iluobe to write her statement under Caution of which the ADVOCATES ACVPN Team objected the action would amount to making  Helen Princess Iluobe as the suspect rather her statement should be a direct response to the pack of lies Kelly EHimen Iluobe presented.

" After all said and done a lot revelation unfolded that made the Admin unit retrace their step because it was very clear Kelly had the unit under his manipulative antics .The almighty Kelly eventually showed up at exactly 5pm after he kept everyone waiting from 10 am. But the head of the unit in person of ACP Lawal was in an hurry to catch up a meeting at the state command.

He instructed that Mrs. Helen Princess Iluobe should be given a self recognition bail. It was very obvious the odds are against Kelly Iluobe .We were told to come to over to FCID ALAGBON today by 10 am and Kelly was told to come along with his Surety Felix Idemudia,  his brother Moses Adams Iluobe.
Going by what the ADVOCATES ACVPN Team observed yesterday when Kelly arrived it was very obvious he has been in close constant contact with the Admin unit.

To crown it all this case is a gender based case because children were duly involved and it is expected after today the case should be transferred to the Gender Anti-human Trafficking unit FCID without delay.

What the ADVOCATES ACVPN Team observed yesterday was Kelly thought he could take public attention off this case to FCID and kill the case which will never happen

If nothing happens today we shall make a press briefing on why shouldn't this case be handled by the Gender Anti-human Trafficking unit FCID.

We must put a stop to such practice, ensure Kelly and his brother are brought to book so that it would serve as deterrent to others that you can't eat your cake and at the same time have it .

No retreat No Surrender
Injury to one is injury to all.

The case is a Gender Based Violence case meant to be handled by the Gender Anti-human Trafficking unit FCID and not Admin section who investigate land dispute, fraud issues, of course we can't blame them they are acted on the lies  Kelly wrote to them now that the truth has been revealed.
we expect the needful  into this case"

How Kelly Illuobe is a serial marriage merchant ----
--- as Aunt Landa Bethel Foundation takes over Sickle Cell children.

Speaking on her ordeal, Princess said "Kelly  used fake genotype to get married to me and we had  three children who have   Sickle cell. I feel he targets women who are well to do because at the time he came to me for relationship and marriage, he knew I was a business woman and my mother was well to do. We were selling jewelry and doing well in the business. After our children started falling ill , he fled and got married to another wife leaving me and my mother to cater for the children's  blood transfusion and other treaments. Kelly  destroyed  me. He duped me and my family to the tune of over N7m including a parcel of land we jointly bought together at Ijegun and ran away. One of our children died as a result of the AA. Felix lied to me and gave his genotype to be AA .It was when our children started falling ill I did a genotype test for them and found out that they are SS  . Kelly has gotten married to three women fraudulently and is currently on the run after the alleged marriage scam was exposed and reported to the Police.

Kelly got marriage to me with false identity. He used his elder brother  name Moses Illuobe in the  marriage register.

Followed the abandonment of two of their children by Mr. Iluobe, the Aunt Landa Bethel Foundation has taken over the care and treatment of the two children who are being catered for in the shelter and has spent  over two million naira on their drugs, feeding and blood transfusion.

This particular incident happened as a result of a young man who came to our house to fix our fan. My husband was angry that he was not at home and I allowed a young man to come into the house. He went on to probe us by saying why was the young man  sweating and I too was sweating too. He asked why the young man locked the room but the young man said the door locked by itself. He went on to tell me that I have guts to bring a man to our house to sleep with me ?He started quarreling after the young man left. I know that the next thing is to pounce on me so I ran out to call my neighbours to help beg him. He got infuriated when he saw our neighbour and his wife and right in their presence he hit me in the eye. I fell to the floor screaming but my neighbours left me and my husband kept  pouncing on  me. I ran out of the house with blood gushing from my eye. This is not his first time beating me. He has done it more than four times, inspite  of this, I am fending for my family. I am not interested in the marriage anymore. He should be given serious warning not to hit me again "
It was gathered that the   IBA Police Station is investigating the  attack and has since arrested the suspect.

Police handed my 11 months old child to her father who assaulted me and abducted her for suspected ritual purpose ---- Business woman.

A business woman  Dania Ebunoluwa  is calling on the acting  Inspector General of Police IGP Akali Baba to investigate policemen attached to the Gender Unit Lagos State police command for allegedly giving custody of her 11 months old daughter to her father one Ibrahim Oladipo after he assaulted her and made away with the baby.

Miss Ebunoluwa said she is a victim of an alleged fraudulent relationship orchestrated by Mr Oladipo who got her pregnant but abandoned her to her fate with the child but for his sinister motive, has turned around to abduct the same baby he told her to abort .
In her pleas to the IGP , Mrs Ebunoluwa said instead of the police in Gender Unit State police command Lagos  to help retrieve her child turned around to support him.
Narrating her ordeal, she said " I  met Ibrahim Oladipo  in 2018  and he asked me out on date.I agreed. In the long run, I got pregnant and I told him and his  mother  but  they didn’t accept the child and asked me to abort the baby. While I was pregnant , I met one Mr Lekan and I told him that I was pregnant and he accepted me with my pregnancy and he did marriage introduction . After five months of giving birth to the baby girl called DAVINA ,Ibrahim Oladipo insisted on carrying out a DNA which came out positive. Before and after the birth of the baby,my family  which is my father ,mum and fiancé were the ones who  took all  the responsibilities of my child. They paid all necessary bills  and took perfect care of her. While my father who is a retired commander in the Navy was planning my wedding with my fiancé  which was supposed to hold on the 4th of may 2020, Ibrahim came to our house to show interest in getting married to me ,he insisted that I was the one he wanted to marry. My dad had to put the wedding with my fiance on hold . My dad asked him to come with his family to collect the engagement list but he didn’t come back for the list. After two months, he called my  parents that he was not interested in the marriage because we are not compatible ,which is not even true , the main reason why he ended the relationship with me was because he  impregnated another lady. All this happened on the 16th of May 2020 Ibrahim Oladipo tricked me to a restaurant  in LEKKI phase 1. He was there in the company of some lady who pretended to an event planner , after some minutes he assaulted ,humiliated and beat me to stupor which I acquired a severe injury on my face and I fainted  , he assaulted me and took my 11 months old baby and ran away , when I woke up from fainting  I discovered that he has kidnapped my baby and ran away .For two weeks I didn’t see my daughter  until on June 2nd  where the Ikeja police command invited us and they handed a 11 months old baby to  Ibrahim . I’m so scared and worried that Ibrahim has my child for fetish purposes . When I saw my daughter on  June 2nd in the police premises ,my heart was bleeding because my daughter was not  in a good state she has been treated badly and all  my efforts to know where the location of my baby was proved abortive hence I came to the Gender Unit at SCID Panti to assist me on retrieving my baby  While I was waiting for progress on the case, I honored the invitation of the Police at Ikeja command where I saw my baby for the first time in two weeks.I saw the baby in a bad state , I tried to hold and touch my baby then a fight ensued between us.The OC  gender in police headquarters CSP Gladys Faniyitayo refused to give me audience and she threw all of us out including my parents .my father tried to introduce himself and she shunned him. My mum tried to beg and appeal with her but she threw her out of her office  . I don’t understand why my baby who was stolen from me  by the father who is a student and doesn’t have a clear source of  income.. was given to the same man by ASP Bimbo of Gender Unit, Police State Headquarters Ikeja without allowing me to tell my side of the story. The entire Gender unit  team at the police  headquarters seemed to be acting a script written by Ibrahim. My father a retired senior officer in the Navy and my mother were present Right now I’m worried because of how she was looking emaciated and unkept , I’m begging CSP Gladys Faniyitayo to help recover my child and keep her safe before my daughter is  used for ritual purpose . My baby who is breastfeeding was stolen from me by Ibrahim Oladipupo after assaulting me in public two weeks ago, has now been handed over to the same Ibrahim who assaulted me"
Efforts to get the reaction of Mr. Oladipo was futile as his phone was not reachable.
Condemning the incident, Mr. Ebenezer Omejalie, coordinator of Advocates For Children And Vulnerable Persons Network ACVPN  said "We call on our amiable responsive DC Gender Coordinator/Special Adviser to the IGP, PPRO Lagos Police Command IKEJA this injustice should not be allowed to stand by such officers who have received several capacity building on both Gender Based violence and Child Protection. He is bragging that he has N2million to bribe the police"
It was gathered that the Aunt Landa Bethel foundation has taken over the case.

Auctioneers die of hunger, high blood pressure as Lagos CP "refuses" to work with licensed private auctioneers

Two  auctioneers licensed to auction and dispose off abandoned vehicles in police stations in Lagos state police command have reportedly died of high blood pressure and hunger as they have  been rendered jobless since Lagos State commissioner of police CP Hakeem Odumosu assumed office.
The deceased auctioneers simply identifed as Mr.  Tajudeen and Mr.  Innocent were among over thirty auctioneers  who said they have not been allowed to auction any abandoned vehicles in police stations in Lagos police command since the Lagos state commissioner of police CP Hakeem Odumosu assumed office.
An auctioneer said " Innocent is from Imo State and Tajudeen is from Oyo State and they have been auctioneering vehicles long before CP Odumosu came on board. They died  due to hunger, high blood pressure as they cannot pay their bills and fend for their families. The CP is not working with any of us and we are official auctioneers licensed by the police. We register every year but since last year ,none of us have been allowed to auction any vehicle.  Our members are dying. Others are sick and many like myself cannot pay rent, school fees and take care of our family because CP Odumosu has taken away our means of livelihood. The other day ,my landlord told me my house rent had expired. I couldn't pay him. I have been begging him to exercise patience but till when?"
Auctioneers who spoke on condition of anonymity over fear of being victimised said " Since the time the Lagos state commissioner of police CP Hakeem Odumosu assumed office last year, he has prevented us from auctioning any vehicle. He said he is not ready to work with us. When we showed him our licence and authorization to auction police abandoned vehicles which we have been doing for more than twenty years, he still insisted that he does not want to work with us . We asked him who he wants to work with but he refused to reply us".
A resident in Lagos Marcus King said the police handling of auction of abandoned vehicles is vague.
He said " The  CP Odumosu said through a statement by the Lagos State police command spokesperson CSP Muyiwa Adejobi that  members of the public can visit the police stations for their vehicles but what station can we go to? When the auctioneers were handling the issue of abandoned vehicles in police station, they will list the vehicles, the make, colours and the plate numbers of the vehicles in addition , they will tell the public through newspaper publication what stations the vehicles are but the CP's order on abandoned vehicles since he took over that aspect has not given all the necessary details .These abandoned vehicles were seized or tolled by Task Force police and others , the vehicles can be kept at any location so where can we go to look for them? I will advise that the job of the professionals should be left to professionals. Let the CP allow the auctioneers do their job".

Following the alleged stoppage of their legitimate job, the auctioneers said they are finding it very difficult to fend for their families.
" I do not understand why the Lagos state commissioner of police CP Hakeem Odumosu would stop us from our legitimate means of livelihood. He is there enjoying himself as a CP earning all the salaries and the peck that comes with his exalted office but he refused to allow us make earns to cater for our families. We know how the Covid-19 pandemic affected everyone but those badly hit are those non salary earners like us so its been very difficult for us to feed , take care of children fees, pay rents and fulfil other financial obligation".

The auctioners therefore appealed to the new IGP  and the police  high command to prevail on the Lagos state commissioner of police CP Hakeem Odumosu to work with them.
"We are appealing to the new IGP Baba to come to our rescue and the government to intervene as all our appeal , cry and even death of our members have not moved CP Odumosu. When the former Lagos CP Edgal Imohimi was in power, he also denied us from our legitimate job. He only allowed one of us to be the auctioneer. Later , that auctioneer, allowed us to auction with him and we were back in business but CP Hakeem Odumosu has stopped everyone of us. We wonder who is now auctioning over five  thousand abandoned vehicles since he became CP, where are these vehicles? Who is keeping them?"
When contacted , Lagos state police command spokesperson CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi did not  reply to the inquiry.

BBC AFRICA EYE REPORTER PETITIONS IGP , FPRO OVER THREAT TO LIFE FOR EXPOSÉ ON BREKETE HOST, FAMILY

A British Broadcasting Corporation African Eye  reporter Mr. Peter Nkanga has petitioned the acting  Inspector General of Police  Usman Baba and the police spokesperson CP Frank MbA over alleged threat to his life by Abuja based Human Rights radio host popularly known as Brekete Connect Mr. Ahmed Isah.
The petition read
Dear Mr. Mba,

I am reaching out to you because I don't feel safe. What is worrying me and really affecting my family is that for over a week, the Police are yet to act on the clear threats to my personal safety.

On Tuesday, 25 May 2021, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) submitted an official letter with corroborating evidence to the Inspector-Genaral of Police regarding harassment, cyberbullying and threat to my life and others.

It is over a week now, and I am following up to know the status of the letter and the actions that the Police have taken, most particularly for Ahmad Isah of the Human Rights Radio 101.1Fm to be invited to sign an undertaking that no harm will befall me, my family and BBC crew. This is because the harassment and threats were occasioned by our phone numbers released on his Live programme to the public.

I am reaching out to you Mr Mba because I don't feel safe. Truth be told, I won't feel safe until Ahmad signs this undertaking for at least two (2) reasons:

1). Because Ahmad is someone with power & influence who boldly lied on his Live show when he told his followers and the whole world that I and the BBC plotted to kill him. This was a premeditated lie with malicious intentions.

2). Because Ahmad, in at least one similar instance that I know, got his mob to harass and threaten a station manager at LoveFM some years back. I spoke to the station manager who had to insist that the Police get Ahmad to sign an undertaking. The importance of getting this undertaking for my safety must be emphasised.

Family, friends and associates, at home and abroad, feel the same way. We are calling on the Police to intervene to nip the threat to my life and ensure the safety of me, my family and the BBC crew by getting Ahmad to sign an undertaking.

Thank you.
