Mr. Ibrahim further mentioned he realized his Ex-Wife was aware of the whole situation rather She chose to cover it up.Furthermore he mentioned he noticed his daughter had a deep injury on her left leg when he queried his daughter she told him she fell inside a Gutter of which he took snap of the injury.

''According to Mr. Ibrahim he had to approach the The Citizens Mediation Center to lay his complaint and enquiry on how he can get custody of his daughter, he was directed to the Welfare Unit of the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development MYSD Alausa Ikeja where he met with one Mr Ayeni who guided him to first visit the Mirabel Center for proper examination of both his 7 years Old daughter and his three years Old son.At  the  Mirabel Center medical examination report was very damning that he was told the daughter had multiple bruises, her Hymen was not intact, multiple penetration. According to Mr. Ibrahim he burst into tears , he returned home to confront his wife with the outcome of Mirabel Center medical report, it was during the confrontation he realized his ex-Wife had taken their daughter to a private hospital for medical attention which was not comprehensive as that of Mirabel Center medical report.According Mr. Ibrahim when he left his Ex-wife house thirty minutes later he received a call from his ex- that she would like to join him to visit Mirabel Center the next day.According to Mr. Ibrahim the following day morning the first visitor he received were police officers from Denton police station on invitation from the Dpo.Getting to the Denton police station he met an already compromised DPO and his associate one retired Ex-Police officer by name Oyenuga. He further narrated how the Dpo and his associate Oyenuga threatened him with jail term , threatened to jail all involved in the treatment of his daughter ,he further mentioned the DPO and Mr  Oyenuga accused him and his present wife of using their three years Old son to DEFILED his 7 years old daughterMr. Ibrahim further mentioned the DPO and his associate Mr. Oyenuga accused Mirabel Center of DEFILING his daughter and threatened to arrest the Doctor that conducted the test.Mr. Ibrahim further mentioned the IPO was a very experienced woman in child protection after their discussion the IPO realized the initial report they got from his ex-Wife were not true, she went to the DPO to inform him of her findings to her dismay the DPO rubished and humiliated  the IPO in the presence of everybody in his office. The Dpo and his Cohorts Oyenuga told Mr. Ibrahim to go back to Alausa and informed the Citizen Mediation Center to write a letter of withdrawal or else he would be taken to PANTI and locked up in the mist of Hardened Criminal.According to Mr. Ibrahim he was locked up for 8 hours at the DENTON POLICE STATION, before he was released with the above condition issued by the Dpo and his Cohorts Oyenuga.Mr. Ibrahim had no choice than do what he was told he approached the welfare Office, Alausa, Mirabel Center, Citizens Mediation Center, and he was  told the case was no longer his case but that of the State Government.
This is unacceptable because a lot of people are threatening him to withdraw the case.

''We call on the good office of the OC Gender Anti-Human Trafficking SCID PANTI  to Please call for the case to be transferred from the Denton police station because the Dpo is incapable to handle this caseWe Say No to Abuse of Office ,this boils down to one of the recommendation we gave two Months ago when we had a meeting with the DC Force Head Quarters Coordinator Gender and special Adviser to the IGP on the Police Manual  it was suggested that before any body is appointed as a Dpo he or she should have been duly certified in Child Protection and Human rights Capacity building extensively if this is taken seriously we won't have this ugly situation at Denton police station. We have just been informed that the Mr. Ibrahim the survivor's father was arrested again not too long ago , Is it s crime for a man to fight for justice on behalf of his daughter.I can't Imagine a DPO doing this ''.

BBC reporter gets death threats for exposé on Berekete Radio host who assaulted interviewee after host calls out his mobile number on air.

Mr. Nkanga was the brain behind a clip which went viral showing Berekete radio host Ahmad Isah popularly know as " Ordinary President" assaulting a female suspect who poured hot water on her ward's head over allegation of witchcraft.
Mr. Nkanga also did an expose' film  titled " What Made 'Ordinary President' Ahmad Isah Change His Mind On NM8: Nsugbe's Missing 8?"
Mr. Nkanga while reacting to the threat said "As (un)expected I am now being bullied for the BBC report. My phone number was read out live today Thu, 20 May 2021, on Human Rights Radio for the public to call me. I switched off my phone after receiving uncountable calls/SMS/WhatsApp messages from people all over the world threatening me and my family. The entirety of the 27 mins film (which many people have not seen) was not intended to bring down Ahmad Isah, Brekete family, or the Human Rights Radio/TV station"

"Ahmad openly welcomed the BBC Crew into his Radio station and even allowed the crew to see what he was doing and how he goes about his brand of fighting injustice. The film's aim was to provide a balanced & objective profile of the station's work by highlighting the perception of many Nigerians that the flaws in the justice system have created a vacuum leading citizens to seek justice elsewhere.

Ahmad Isah is not on trial. His critics say that due to his prominent profile and growing influence, he often fails to abide by accepted norms of handling human rights complaints. The views of these critics are reflected in the film; so also are strong examples of the effectiveness of Ahmed Isah's human rights campaigning reflected in the positive changes he has been able to bring to the lives of many who seek his help.

Clearly the job of the BBC is not to bring anyone down. We work to hold the powerful to account, the same way the public expects us as journalists and media outfits to be accountable. Repeatedly we sought his right to reply to the accusations we received in the course of the film. Ahmad refused.

As stated before, our intention was to both highlight the work that Ahmed Isah has done with his Brekete Family show, and, as part of our commitment to objective reporting, to also reflect the voices of those who believe his methods can cross important ethical lines.

The film is certainly not a 'hatchet job' and the BBC has not been influenced in any way by the interests of those Ahmed Isah may have taken to task previously"

DSS writes online news Threatens to sue over alleged fake news

 Samuel Ogundipe
Founder/CEO
Peoples Gazette,
1095, Umar Shuaibu Avenue,
Utako, Abuja

RE: WE RECEIVE WEAPONS FROM SSS AGENTS, SPLIT RANSOM PAYMENTS: BANDITS

You may kindly recall that I had called you earlier today to complain about the above misleading publication by your online platform, Peoples Gazette. It alleged that bandits and terrorists had been “receiving arms and ammunition from operatives of the State Security Service and often split ransom payments received at gunpoint”. Your report, as you were made to understand, was unfounded, mischievous and a calculated effort to bring the Service and its hardworking personnel to disrepute.

2. Though you made allusion to the report by Deutsche Welle as your source, you agreed that the said reportage did not in any way refer to the State Security Service as used in Peoples Gazette fake post. You affirmed that the Service was doing so much and did not deserve such negative portrayal. You further expressed disappointment and surprise that your reporter did not reach out to the Service as claimed, the way you would have personally done by means of call, SMS and/or WhatsApp chat.

3. While we agreed that this development has offered you opportunity to step up supervision of your staff, I, on behalf of the Service, made a three point demand namely:

Nigerian Navy’s newest offshore vessel makes port call in Banjul, Gambia

Nigerian Navy’s newest Offshore Survey Vessel, NNS LANA today, arrived Banjul, Gambia as she continues her homeward voyage to Nigeria.

The ship was received by a Navy delegation and officials of the Nigerian High Commission in Gambia.

The vessel is expected to stay in Gambia for 3 days, before departing for Tema, Ghana on May 7, 2021.

It would be recalled that the Navy recently took delivery of NNS LANA in Saint Nazaire, France. Being the Navy’s first ever purpose built Offshore Survey Vessel, the new vessel was conceived as a replacement to the previous NNS LANA, a survey ship that was decommissioned about 10 years ago.  According to naval spokesman, Commodre Suleman Dahun, “Notably, the construction of the Offshore Survey Vessel 190 MKII (NNS LANA) commenced in        December 2019 and the building process was successfully completed and the ship was launched on 24 September 2020 at Les Sables d’Olonne, France.

“NNS LANA (A499) is designed and purposely built to enable the NN conduct hydrographic and oceanographic surveys. It is also capable of conducting geophysical studies, search and rescue operations as well as patrol duties. The Ship is equipped with state-of-the-art modern survey equipment as well as a well-equipped 7.6m surface vehicle for shallow water surveys.  “Furthermore, the Ship has an Automatic Weather Station (AWS), wet and dry laboratories, scientific and technical workshops as well as operating and processing rooms for survey data. The machineries include 2 x MTU engines, 3 x CAT main generators/one emergency generator, electric propulsion system and other auxiliaries.  “The electric propulsion, which is operated at survey speed is particularly installed to minimize distortion of data due to machinery noise. The Ship has a maximum speed of 14 knots and a capacity of 50 crew”.

NNS LANA was handed over to the Nigerian Navy in France on January 15, 2021 after the provisional acceptance trials was concluded. The crew training commenced in January 2021 and ended on April 12, 2021. The change of flag ceremony marks her readiness to embark on her maiden homebound voyage to Nigeria.

“Expectedly, NNS LANA would join the Nigerian Navy Fleet in May 2021. It is envisaged that the rebirth of NNS LANA would afford the Nigerian Navy  Hydrographic Department the leverage to successfully and systematically conduct hydrographic surveys and charting of Nigeria’s waters.

“It would also afford Nigeria with the opportunity of keying into the General Bathymetric Charts of the Oceans (GEBCO) Seabed 2030 project and the Global Multi-Resolution Topography (GMRT) synthesis project which would ultimately facilitate Nigeria’s accomplishment of its obligation under SOLAS Convention in accordance with President Muhammadu Buhari’s deliberate and sustained policies on maritime safety and security”.

Child rights advocates want Actor Yomi Fabiyi prosecuted for child pornography

Child rights activists under the auspices of Advocates  For Children and Vulnerable Persons Network ACVPN  are calling on the police authority to arrest Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi.
Fabiyi is calling for protest to the State Command Ikeja tomorrow to compel police to arrest Comedian Princess Adekoya , foster mother of a 14 year old girl sexually assaulted by fellow Nollywood actor and comedian Olarenwaju James  popularly known as Baba Ijesha but Mr. Ebenezer Omejalile coordinator of ACVPN said Fabiyi's protest   is another mirage to sensationalism.

In a statement on Tuesday, Mr. Omejalile said  Fabiyi is not only a  hypocrite but also a supporter of abusers of children but sadly after being bashed for asking for documentary evidence , Fabiyi after watching the video of Baba Ijesha sexually assaulting the 14 year old had turned around calling for protest over the leaked video
Mr. Omejalile while condemning Fabiyi   said " This same Yomi Fabiyi was the first to embark on an odycious journey calling  for the CCTV footage, if only he knew his onion so well would he have demanded for the CCTV footage?

Yomi Fabiyi and his cohorts by now should be cooling off behind bars for the distribution of child pornography. Yomi Fabiyi and his cohorts are enablers of Rape/Pedophile because the popular saying that say Show me your friend and I will tell you who are simply explain a lot.

It's very pathetic the confused Yomi Fabiyi actions so far is that of an Emperor who is categorically naked but still chose to  dance to hallelujah Chorus.

People of such characters should be blacklisted by all Embassies from travelling to any part of the world".

ACVPN, Aunt Landa  Bethel Foundation disassociate, condemn viral  video of Baba Ijesha allegedly  molesting 14 year old girl.

By Patience Ogbo

Advocate for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network ACVPN and the Aunt Landa  Bethel Foundation  have disassociated and condemned the release of a video in the media platform showing embattled Nollywood actor Olarenwaju James allegedly  molesting a 14 year old foster daughter of Princess Adekoya.

In the joint statement signed by Mr. Ebenezer Omejalile Coordinator of ACVPN  and Dr. Yolanda George- David of Aunt Landa Foundation. read
"The Aunt Lands Bethel Foundation  is an organization that has worked and is still working with the Gender and anti-Human Trafficking Unit,  other government and non-Govermental agencies and partners to protect, defend and fight for rights of victims. Most importantly to ensure that justice prevails.
We have always believed in the protection of survivors as this is important to their mental health.
It was however shocking when it was brought to our notice that the CCTV video of one of the cases that we are working on is circulating in public space.

It is pertinent to state clearly that the Aunt Landa's Bethel Foundation was in no way involved in the release of the CCTV Video to the Public. In fact we have never  been in possession of any video or evidentiary material related to case number ALBF202136 (Case of Defilement, indecent exposure and Sexual Assault by of a Minor). We understand that Princess Damilola Adekoya is a passionate mother fighting for the rights of her daughter in ways she deems fit but not on instruction or with advice from the Auntlanda's Bethel Foundation.

I have dedicated the last decade to primarily fighting for the voiceless and reaching the unreached in the Society....by building a structure that provides ABSOLUTE PROTECTION FOR THE SURVIVOR and we ensure we pursue Justice by working in synergy with various passionate bodies. I must emphasize we are currently fighting for Justice for 42 active cases at the moment in synergy with the Gender and Anti-Human Trafficking Unit SCIID Panti and several amazing government and Non-Govermental agencies to ensure maximum success in all of our cases ....  and we have always enforced absolutely Confidentiality. We would continue to fight for Justice for every Survivor we represent including this Survivor. In  futherence to our ethics and duty to protect the Survivor and critical evidence vital to the Case, we pleaded and advised the mother of the Survivor not to release the CCTV footage. I also advised severally that certain facts of the case be protected so that we do not jeopardize our case by releasing evidence for persecution or putting the identity of the Survivor at risk.

Our recommendations to the Survivor's Mother were disregarded as it is within her right to and we had no idea that she had released evidentiary material to the press. We would continue fighting for the rights of the victim and continue working with the authorities to make sure that the Survivor gets Justice and all her abusers are arraigned.Following the release of a certain CCTV footage against our advise and in violation with our practice in one of our active Cases. We have been flooded with calls from other survivors worried that details of their case would be released.

That would never happen.

It is also important that I reassure every victim who has trusted the Auntlanda's Bethel Foundation with your case. We will ALWAYS PROTECT YOU and your case. Our Rescue Officers, Psychotherapists, Case Workers and I always promise ABSOLUTE PROTECTION OF THE IDENTITY OF THE SURVIVOR for all our case and we protect and ensure that vital details of our case and findings made during investigation are never released.

We continue to work tirelessly to ensure that Justice is served and all of the Survivor's abusers would face the Law and the consequences of all of their actions. If you are a victim of Sexual Assault/Abuse, please know that we are a community of people who love and care for you. We help you fight for Justice while we help you heal. Every case is treated confidentially and the identity of the Survivor is always protected.
