---- As NBA demand N5billion compensation for Omobolanle's family
Since the Christmas day killings of Mrs Omobolanle Raheem a lawyer based in Lagos state allegedly by a police Assistant Superintendent of Police, condemnations of the dastardly act have been pouring in from all quarters including the federal, the state governments , the police service commission, police authority , the Nigeria Bar Association, civilians as well as human rights groups and individuals.
Mrs Raheem's death is indeed extremely painful, just like the unprovoked killing of police Inspector Monday Orukpe allegedly by soldiers of the Nigeria Army.
According to investigation, the Orukpe were left to bear the grief of thier late Inspector brother whom they had since buried without the presence of any policeman at the burial in his home town in Edo State. The Orukpe said just like Mrs Raheem thier brother though was a uniform man until his brutal killing by also needs justice and his killers brought to book.
The family has since called on Nigerians to prevail on the police high command and the Army to do the needful and bring his killers to book---
Just as the family of Orukpe is demanding justice as no life is more precious than the other, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is demanding at least N5billion compensation for the family of slain Lagos lawyer, Mrs Omobolanle Raheem.
