GOVERNMENT AND DIVISIONAL ADVISORY COMMUNITY POLICING COMMITTEES SET UP

*AREA ‘A’* Command of the Lagos state Police Command led the way and set the pace by inaugurating the Local Government and Divisional Advisory Committee of the Police Public Relations Committee today Thursday 25th June, 2020

The *Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM, mni* ably represented by the *Assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge Zone 2, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu, psc+* was supported by *Commissioner of Police in-charge Lagos state Police Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu psc* and *Deputy Commissioners of Police* from Zone 2 Headquarters and Lagos State Command inaugurated the Local Government Community Policing Advisory Committee, Area Command Community Policing Advisory Committee and Divisional Community Policing Advisory Committee of the *AREA ‘A’* Command on Thursday 25th June, 2020.

The *Committees* are saddled with the responsibilities of driving the community policing policies and strategies approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and championed by the Nigeria Police under the leadership of the *Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM, mni.*
