Two persons are feared dead in a clash allegedly caused by some youths suspected to be members of Federation of Igbara-odo Students Union.
An eye witness said trouble began when the students started distributing some pamphlets inciting the people of the town to probe the monarch, Oba Edward Jaiyeola, on how monies raised in the last anniversary celebration of the town were spent.
They also demanded the inclusion of four of their members in the monarch’s council of chiefs and that a new generation bank, which was about to vacate the town, be asked to stay.
They also demanded for a police college speculated to be coming to the town.
It was learnt that the youths, after distributing the pamphlets made for the palace of the monarch and unleashed terror on it.
“They vandalised all vehicles in sight there, the palace building and in the process, attacked the Divisional Police Officer of the town,” the witness said.
It was also gathered that a yet-to-be identified leader of the rampaging youths was killed in the chaos, while a policeman was also killed by the protesters and his rifle taken away.
Governor Ayodele Fayose stormed the area around 6pm in company with the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Chafe, and other security operatives, and immediately met with leaders and residents of the town.
Fayose, who vowed to get to the root of the crisis, promised that the perpetrators would be prosecuted.
To arrest the situation, the governor immediately declared a seven-day curfew from 7am to 6pm daily on the community.
“This is a very bad development. It is a big shame on the community. I am assuring you that we will get to the root of this matter and ensure that perpetrators are dealt with,” he said.

Your Poverty Development Party has been ruining this nation for 16 years, all what we have in Nigeria is death and destruction and you that controls the federal institutions, NNPC, national resources and our collective gtreasury have a mouth to attack those that control states, shame on metubusela, shame on PDP a party where people are called or invited to come and eat rather than to come and serve the nation. Every Nigerian matters ooo, May God save Nigeria from ENEMIES WITHIN

Now I know that Metuh is going insane, what have APC said that is causing panic within the PDP domain, and for your best information, Nigerians are not enjoying any unity, PDP have proven how weak and clueless they can be in governing the affair of this nation, Nigerians are also watching the rate of insecurity in the nation imposed by the People’s Delivering Poverty to Nigeria, the rate of corruption have escalated in Nigeria that every governmental agencies in the country can no long account for it’s activities. GEJ an his PDP led government are failures and every Nigerians are aware of it, PDP have 11months left to vacant Aso Rock with their badluck.

Nigeria is not interested in this Grammar, PDP has wasted 16 good years of Nigeria without nothing to show for it.
Start now to pack your load Nigerian has enough.

To me, Metuh is not skilled enough in his job. No party can claim of having only patriotic people while the others will have only unpatriotic ones. He should concentrate on telling NIGERIANS the good things in PDP, if there are, instead of shouting himself hoarse on non issues about APC. The way Metuh talks, it seems he thinks he is either a court of law or a judge.

Metulsella should tell us where pdp get their funds from to run jamboree rallies and campaign and where r they keeping I000naira collected from poor nigerians to enrich themselves d more?we know pdp and we know apc, noon is better but pdp must go,they have lost control, let try apc if they will learn from pdp mistakes and wrongs
TRUTH MASTER
Finally, PDP succumbs to the firepower of APC! Just about time!! But the last time I checked, it was a presidential aide, Reno Omokri, who used a fictitious name to write an article that maligned a supposed opponent of the Jonathan presidency!!!
