Police arrest alleged notorious kidnap Kingpin Evans

An allegedly   notorious and dreaded kidnap kingpin who was recently declared wanted by the police simply called Evans has been arrested in his his mansion in Magodo area of Lagos State by 1pm on Saturday by a combined team of the Inspector General of police Intelligence Response Team IRT  and TIU Operatives.
Recall that police authorities, recently, placed a N30M bounty on his head after the arrest of some of his gang members.
According to the police, Evans allegedly led  the gang which have  kidnapped uncountable number of wealthy business men in Lagos and environs. His victims were forced to pay a ransom of not less than N500m before they were let off the hook.
Police sources said Operatives have found it difficult to identify Evans as none of his photographs was seen.
A source said " He knows that police cannot identify him because they do not have his photographs . He used this to travel about unnoticed. Like every criminal, his end will surely come. "
A police source said Operatives recovered four AK47 rifles and more than 1000 rounds of ammunition from the suspect's mansion.
