71-year-old South African, Nigerian nabbed for drug trafficking in India Published April 13, 2017 Share Tweet Authorities at the Indian Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said they have arrested a 71-year-old South African, Jan Harm Herbst and his Nigerian companion, identified as Martin for smuggling drugs. The authorities said 14 kilograms of Methaqualone was seized from the two. According to the Times of India, the NCB got its eyes on the 71-year-old South African during his stay in a Delhi hotel and nabbed him at the airport when he was about to fly out of India. Herbst was also accused of smuggling drugs six times in the past. Earlier, the police had arrested another South African in Mumbai with the drug.
